People’s National Party candidate for Central Manchester, Peter Bunting, tested negative for COVID-19.
The party in a statement on Friday morning, said Bunting had been tested on Monday (August 24) and received a negative report last afternoon.
Bunting went into self quarantine earlier this week after it was revealed that he was listed as a contact of Mandeville Mayor Donovan Mitchell, who had tested positive for the virus.
According to the party, Bunting will continue to wear his mask, sanitize frequently and abide by the social distancing protocols established by the Ministry of Health.
