A bus driver was charged in connection with a July 1 incident in which he allegedly chopped an on-duty policeman.
Reports are that at about 6:15 p.m. on July 1, Denvar Needham used a machete to chop a Policeman on his right hand.
Needham fled the scene.
Forty-six-year-old Needham was apprehended the following day in Guys Hill, St. Catherine.
Needham of an Eltham Acres address in Spanish Town was charged on Tuesday, July 07 following a question and answer session with his attorney.
His court date is being finalised.
