Deportee charged with murder after stabbing Windward Road resident

A 36-year-old man as been charged with the murder of 29-year-old Tafari Miller who was stabbed to death in April 2020.

Reports from the Elletson Road Police are about 7:40 p.m., on Thursday, April 2, 2020, Miller otherwise called ‘Popcorn’, a labourer of Windward Road in Kingston was allegedly involved in an argument with a man that subsequently escalated into a fight.

Miller was fatally stabbed by the man who fled the scene.

The police were summoned and Miller was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An investigation was launched and Lionel Davidson, otherwise called ‘Face’, of Hyslope Avenue, Kingston 2 has been charged in connection with  the murder.

Davidson, who was previously deported to Jamaica, was charged on Wednesday, November 4. His court date is being finalised.
