Heavy rainfall and life-threatening flash flooding are likely over the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba and Jamaica, said the National Hurricane Centre (NHC) in its latest update.

The weather is a result of Tropical Storm Laura which is moving toward the west-northwest at a speed of 21 mph.
The local Met Service has since issued a flash flood watch for low-lying and flood-prone areas of all parishes.
The flash flood watch remains in effective until Monday at 8:00 p.m.
Laura is projected to mover near or over the southern coast Cuba tonight and Monday, and move over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico Monday night into Tuesday morning.
