Information just in is that Superintendent of Police Leon Clunis has died.
The Police Superintendent was one of four lawmen who were shot during a police operation on June 12.
Detective Corporal Dane Biggs and Constable Decardo Hylton who were apart of the operation died shortly after being rushed hospital on the same day.
The Superintendent had been at the Kingston Public Hospital since the incident; he was said to be recovering.
Opposition spokesman on National Security, Fitz Jackson, has expressed sadness at the passing of the lawman.
