More wet weather in the forecast for Jamaica

Jamaicans can expect more wet weather, said the Meteorological Service on Saturday (October 31).

According to the Met Service a tropical wave now over the central Caribbean sea is expected to bring inclement weather to the island as early as this afternoon.

The wave is expected to bring periods of heavy rainfall, along with thunderstorms and strong, gusty winds.

The system is expected to become a tropical depression over the next day or so as it moves west into the western Caribbean Sea.

Last weekend Tropical Storm Zeta battered the island leaving behind billions of dollars in damage to the island’s road network.
