A man was charged with rape after he attacked a woman with a gun and had sexual intercourse with her.
Charged is 30-year-old Davion Bryan, a labourer of Norwich district in Portland
Reports are that about 3:00 a.m on July 10, Bryan held up a woman that was walking along a roadway with a firearm and had sexual intercourse with her against her will.
The matter was reported to the police, an investigation launched and Bryan was subsequently arrested.
Bryan was charged with Rape and Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition following the incident.
