Holness turns 48, social media flooded with kind wishes for the PM

It’s Prime Minister Andrew Holness’ birthday and social media platforms have been abuzz with best wishes for the PM.

Holness who turned 48 today (July 22) is the first Prime Minister born post-independence to lead the state.

One of the first persons to wish Holness a happy birthday was British Conservative Party politician Amanda Milling.

“Happy birthday to PM @AndrewHolnessJM from our Sister Party, @JLPJamaica, who has shown tremendous strength and leadership for the people of Jamaica during this COVID-19 pandemic,” tweeted Milling.

Milling’s tweet was reshared by the prime minister.

Others to send birthday greetings included the PM’s wife and fellow Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) politician Juliet Holness, others in the JLP, such as , Member of Parliament (MP) for East Portland, Ann Marie Vaz, MP for East Central St. Catherine Alando Terrelonge, MP for Central St Catherine Olivia “Babsy” Grange, MP South West St Elizabeth and Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of National Security, Matthew Samuda.

JLP party supporters have also flocked to the PM’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (IG) pages to share birthday wishes.

Beauty queen Toni-Ann Singh also shared a special happy birthday greeting for the PM on Instagram.

“Happy Birthday, @andrewholnessjm ! May God continue to guide and keep you, ” said Singh on IG.
