MegaMart
Ran out of an item for your Independence Day family dinner? Don’t worry MegaMart has you covered. MegaMart as the name suggest carries fresh produce, baked items, alcoholic beverages and an array of household items and appliances. In addition they’ve got a Digicel and Ice Cream outlet, as well as two ATM machines (NCB and Scotia Bank) located inside. MegaMart locations are open until 8:00 p.m.
Dunn’s River Falls & Park
When it comes to finding something to do, trips to the country on holiday weekends are always fun. Spend some time with your family and friends climbing Dunn’s River Falls.The park takes it’s last guest at 4:00p.m. Don’t forget to bring your mask.
Di Dragon
It is Portmore’s best kept secret – A neat little restaurant with a scenic view, serving up great Jamaican Chinese style food. It’s a great place for families to have a tasty meal. They close at around 7:30 p.m. Note they take cash only.
Mystic Mountain
Need an adrenaline rush ? Check out all the rides an attractions at Mystic Mountain. While they are taking schedule appointments only, you can still call to make a reservation. They’re open until 5:00 p.m.
York Pharmacy
Need to fill a prescription? What about a last minute gift? York Pharmacy smack in the middle of Half Way Tree stocks a range of prescription drugs, gift items and small household items and small appliances. They even have an on-site restaurant Asia’s Cafe. They’re open until 8:30 p.m.
Devon House Ice-Cream
It is a treat for most children on holidays – Ice-cream! The iconic Scoops Unlimited, makers of world famous Devon House ice-cream at their signature location off Waterloo road is open today until 9:30 p.m. Other Scoops Unlimited locations are open as well.
