United States President Donald Trump late Thursday (October 1) announced that he had tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.
The president shared the news on Twitter noting that he was now going into quarantine.
In a tweet, Trump said, ” Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19″.

The 74-year-old president did not reveal whether or not he had been displaying symptoms.
Trump’s positive test result comes just a day after many of his family members attended the debate in Ohio without wearing masks.
