Prime Minister Andrew Holness has responded to a call for assistance from a young Christiana woman who asked for his assistance in starting a bar business.
Nicola James, in a now viral video, asked Holness to assist her in securing the start-up capital necessary to get her bar business off the ground.
Holness, in a social media post on Friday (August 6) shared that he had visited James in her hometown to grant her request.
The PM shared that he handed over some stock, in addition to making a donation, in the form of a cheque which will help James in fulfilling her business goal.
“Today, I visited Nicola to hand over some stocks towards this goal, as well as a cheque so that she will be able to start her business,” said Holness on social media.
