A 26-year-old man has been charged with rape in connection with an April 9, 2020 incident.
Reports from the Lucea Police are that about 1:30 p.m., Cavaugh Smith otherwise called ‘Andre’ entered the complainant’s yard while she was washing dishes and demanded sex.
When Smith’s demands were not met, he pushed the woman into the house and had sexual intercourse with her against her will.
Smith was arrested and subsequently charged following an identification parade.
