Three Jamaican police were arrested in the US for drug-related offences, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has confirmed the arrests.
In a release late Wednesday, the JCF said that the officers had been arrested following “ongoing investigations” and “intelligence sharing” between the JCF and its United States counterparts.
The names of the three Jamaican police officers have not been confirmed but The Den News understands that it is two males and one female, all from the parish of St James.
The members are remanded in the United States pending further investigations.
