A 50-year-old man has been charged with rape after it is alleged that he had sexual intercourse with his step daughter.
The man, whose identity is being withheld, was charged with Rape and Indecent Assault.
Reports are that the accused man had sexual intercourse with an 8-year-old child on several ocasions between 2020 and 2021.
The accused is the stepfather of the 8-year-old child
The matter was reported to the police and the man of a Portmore, St Catherine address arrested and charged.
