Caretaker loses $2 million in goods after teens rob house in Hanover

Two teens were recently arrested in connection with a house breaking that occurred in Spanish Hill, Hanover in August 2020.

Reports are that on  August 16 a caretaker securely locked up a house and left.

On Saturday, August 29, about 8:50 a.m., the caretaker discovered that the house was broken into. It was also discovered that several items valued approximately JMD 2,000,000 were damaged or stolen.

Police  have arrested and charged two teenage boys in connection with the incident for  House Breaking, Larceny and Malicious Destruction of Property.

An investigation was launched which later lead to the arrest and charge of the two.

Their court date is being finalised.
