Cold front to affect weather conditions in Jamaica starting Sunday

The Meteorological Service of Jamaica (Met Service) has said that a Cold Front is approaching the island and is expected to start impacting weather conditions on Sunday (March 27).

According to the Met service, the Cold Front is currently across western Cuba and will start to move across Jamaica on Sunday.

The Cold Front will bring periods of heavy showers, cooler temperatures, and gusty winds mainly across south-eastern and northern parishes.

The agency says that there will be partly cloudy conditions into Sunday morning, but will remain cloudy across northern parishes.

Additionally, northern parishes should expect a period of showers on Sunday in the afternoon.

Weather conditions are expected to remain unstable continuing until Wednesday (March 30) morning.
