Cop dies at National Chest Hospital due to COVID-19 complications

COVID-19 on Sunday (September 12) claimed the life of a Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) member.

Inspector Miguel Johnson died at the National Chest Hospital due to complications related to COVID-19.

The 43-year-old was attached to the special operations team in the St. Andrew Northern division.

It is unclear if the Inspector had any underlying Illness, however the policing body has described his passing as very sad, using the occasion to encourage vaccination.
