Hanover man charged for ‘pulling gun’ during argument

A thirty-nine-year-old man has been charged in connection with a July 5 incident in which he pulled a gun while in an altercation with another man. 

Reports from the Lucea Police are that on July 5 at about 1:00 a.m., Damian Butler got involved in an argument with another man.

Butler allegedly brought a firearm into play, however, the man managed to flee the scene. 

An investigation was subsequently launched and Butler was arrested on Wednesday(July 8) and subsequently charged.

Butler, otherwise called ‘Ticky’, of Woodland in Hanover, was arrested and charged for Illegal Possession of Firearm and Assault at Common Law following an incident in his community on Sunday (July 5).

He is scheduled to appear before the court at a later date.
