Human remains found in Sandy Bay, believed to be that of missing Clarendon teacher

Human remains were found in a section of Sandy Bay, Clarendon on Thursday (April 8).

The remains are believed to be that of missing Clarendon teacher, Natalie Dawkins.

Police though unable to confirm the identity, note that the body was found in an advanced state of decomposition.

Dawkins, a teacher of Four Paths Primary and Junior High School, has been missing since March 30.

Investigators on Saturday (April 3) recovered the educator’s motor vehicle in Bellas Gate, St Catherine.

Later it was reported by the police that one of the men who were believed to have been involved in her disappearance was shot dead during a shootout with police.

A second man believed to be involved in the shootout managed to escape, but is believed to have been injured.
