Controversy over whether Robinson had used ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19

Following his passing, there has been a war of words online regarding whether Robinson had used Ivermectin as a treatment.

According to a source close to the family, Robinson had not taken the drug prior to his passing.

The source told The Den that they found out about Robinson’s COVID-19 diagnosis on Thursday (September 16), the 7th day of his illness.

Robinson was later admitted to the UHWI on the 8th day of his illness.

The source says the family was instructed to use ivermectin as treatment.

However, it is understood that Robinson did not take the drug, opting instead to treat himself with his own remedy.

Robinson is the founder of the Immuno-gizer prebiotic product and the  author of “The Sabbatical Diet”.

He received his medical training at the University of the West Indies (UWI),  later continuing his education at the Tropical Metabolic Research Institute and Community Medicine Dept.

Robinson was a specialist in internal medicine and was a private medical consultant for over two decades, he focused primarily on nutrition and chronic non-communicable diseases.
