Jamaica records 723 new COVID-19 infections

Jamaica on Saturday (March 6) recorded 723 new COVID-19 infections, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The new infections brings the case count to 26,026. Jamaica also recorded 7 COVID-19 deaths, bringing to 453 the number of persons killed by the virus.

The MOHW said that the 723 new infections were recorded against 2,640 test conducted, which includes antigen tests performed in the private sector.

Kingston and St Andrew continues to be the parish with the largest number of new infections and cases overall.
