Jamaica’s COVID-19 tally jumps to 864, five cases under investigation

Jamaica recorded eight new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday (July 30), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 864.

Three of the new cases are imported, having arrived recently on flights from the USA; while the other five cases are under investigation.

The newly confirmed cases include six females and two males with ages ranging from 26 years to 77 years.

Jamaica currently has 84 active casesunder observation with one moderately ill patient. There are no critically ill cases at this time.
