Just In: Preliminary magnitude-4.3 earthquake rattles Jamaica

A preliminary magnitude 4.3 earthquake shook Jamaica on Tuesday evening.

The temblor struck at 8:02 p.m.

Jamaicans took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to react to the event.

“A Wah gwan a while ago.. jah jah,” said Usain Bolt on X.

“That was heavy 🙆🏽,” added another X user.

In early April, a magnitude of 3.3 earthquake was felt in sections of Mandeville, Manchester.
