Just In: Woman gunned down inside church service in Trelawny

The Den understands that a Trelawny woman was gunned down while attending a church service in the parish on Sunday (January 31).

Reports are that around 11:30 a.m. armed men entered the Agape Christian Fellowship, located at 85 Market Street in the parish, and opened fire at Andrea Lowe Garwood, who was worshiping among other congregants at the service.

One congregant who spoke to The Den revealed that she while she was not in physical attendance at the service heard the shots during the live stream.

The Den has obtained footage from the Facebook Live showcasing the ordeal, which though not captured on camera is heard in the background.

Lowe-Garwood, who is an employee at the National Commercial Bank in the parish, has been grappling with  the death of her mother and  earlier her husband who died in a shootout in Norwood, St James.

Lowe-Garwood, a St James native, had only recently moved to the parish.
