Man and 11-year-old son rob bar in Clarendon, duo nabbed while out during curfew hours

A man and his 11-year-old son were taken into police custody after it was alleged that they broke into a bar on Monday (March 8)

Reports are that at about 2:40 a.m., police officers attached to the Mobile Patrol saw 55-year-old Lesbert Thomson in a pullover sweater and stopped to investigate what he was doing out during the curfew hours .

Upon making checks, they discovered that the man and his 11-year-old son had forced open and ransacked the bar.

Thompson and his son led the police to where the items they had stolen from the bar were stashed.

These were: a variety of liquor and assorted drinks, a black point television and a monitor box.

The items were valued at $115,450.

Thompson a Mason of Corn Piece in Hayes, Clarendon has been charged with Shop Breaking and Larceny.
