A man was nabbed at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay on Thursday (February 18) attempting to flee the island.
Reports are that 31-year-old Dujon Pitter, a higgler of Drecketts Place, Kingston 14 was involved in shootout with police in March 2020.
It is alleged that Pitter and two other opened gunfire at a mobile patrol team in the area. The police returned fire however, the men escaped.
The shootout, which occurred on March 16, 2020 resulted in a 12-year-old boy and a police constable were shot and injured during the incident. They were taken to hospital where they were treated.
