The Den understands that just after 8:00 p.m. a serious collision occurred on the Mandela Highway in the vicinity of Caymanas crossing.
The four vehicle collision has reduced traffic in the area to a single lane as the scene is being processed by the police.
Several individuals have been transported to hospital.
