MP Hugh Graham calls it quits, resigns from PNP shadow cabinet

Member of parliament for St Catherine North Western, Hugh Graham, has resigned from his position as Opposition Spokesperson on Commerce, Science and Technology with immediate effect.

He has also called it quits as councillor for the Lluidas Vale Division.

Graham made the announcement in a letter sent to the Opposition Leader Mark Golding on Monday, which has been making the rounds on social media.

The MP hinted that he had promised his mother that he would leave if he ever felt his purpose was not serving the people.

In a follow up release from the party, it was noted that the Leader of the Opposition, Mark Golding had accepted Graham’s resignation.

The Opposition Leader also used the occasion to thank him for his service in that capacity and personally wished him well.
