A teen was arrested in connection with the seizure of a firearm on Sylvester Drive in Old Harbour, St. Catherine on Sunday (February 14).
Reports are that about 1:45p.m., a team of police were conducting a patrol when the teen –who was driving a motorcycle –was signaled to stop.
He disobeyed and was forced to stop by the police.
A search was subsequently conducted and a Browning Single Action pistol with a magazine containing seven 9mm rounds found in his waistband.
The teen was then arrested, however, his name is being withheld until charges are proffered.
