A man was killed at an illegal party in Portmore, St Catherine over the weekend.
The dead man has been identified as twenty-four-year-old Chade Stephenson of Beverley Flat, New Land, St. Catherine.
Stephenson was shot and killed in Naggo Head in the parish on Saturday(November 28). Another man was also shot and injured.
Reports from the Portmore police are that about 11:15 p.m., a party was in session in the area when gunmen opened fire at the patrons.
The police were summoned and a search was conducted when Stephenson and another man were found with multiple gunshot wounds.
They were transported to hospital where Stephenson was pronounced dead and the other man admitted for treatment.
Lawmen continue to appeal to citizens to abide by the curfew order that has been established to curtail the spread of the coronavirus.
Citizens were also being reminded that anyone found in breach will be prosecuted.
