A police inspector died on Tuesday (September 7) in Hanover.
The Den understands that just before midday Inspector Brown was talking with a colleague at the station.
Mid way through the conversation Brown collapsed.
Brown was rushed to the Noel Holmes hospital in the parish where he later died.
56-year-old Brown had served the force for over three decades.
