An employee of the Public Defender’s Office was found dead after cooling down operations were conducted at his home in St Ann early Tuesday (March 23).
The Den reached out to the police who confirmed the incident but noted that they had limited details on the matter.
Early reports are that residents of the Hyde Park community in Alexandria heard gunfire and later saw smoke coming from the man house.
The man who has been identified as “Wynter” by several in the community, who later told The Den that the fire department was called and Wynter’s body was removed.
It is understood that the deceased was also a well-known political organizer.
