Severed head of missing man found in Duhaney Park

The severed head of a man reported missing was found in the community of Sherlock in Duhaney Park on Sunday (October 24).

The man has been identified as 41-year-old  Sherrod Holness of Willowdene Drive, Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

Holness has been missing since Saturday (October 23)

Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that about 2:15 p.m.,Holness was last seen at home wearing a white merino, burgundy and royal blue shorts and a pair of light green Clarks.

Holness’ head was found in Duhaney Park.

It is understood that the head was placed in sheets of newspaper and sent to a family member.

Also called ‘Yannie’, Holness is said to have been linked to a number of major crimes including murder.

Holness was most recently linked to incident in which a man known only as Sluggo lost his life.
