Jamaican athlete Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce is out of the women’s 100 meters semi final.
Fraser Pryce was to compete in semi- final 2 alongside American sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson.
It is unclear why the Jamaican favourite pulled out of the race.
Previously, Fraser Pryce announced that this would be her last olympic games.
