Creative community plunged into sadness following death of singer Tiffany Thompson

There has been an outpouring of sadness across the local creative community following the death of a young singer, Tiffany Carolyn Thompson.

Thompson, affectionately called “Jiggly Puff”, passed away at the Port Antonio hospital on Monday (March 29) after suffering a brief bout of illness.

Her passing has left many in the creative community stunned as they used social media platforms to reflect on her extraordinary talent as a vocalist and her promising career in the arts.

“This aint real….nah I dont believe it at all. Why am I typing RIP and not congrats on the new album. Im so sad right now ? Such a fun loving gentle soul…,” said recording artiste Bella Blair on Instagram.

“A beautiful and talented soul….?…. Sing in Peace… beautiful songbird,” added popular social media influencer Danar Royal

The Portland native, who attended the Titchfield High School, rose to national attention while still in attendance at the University of The West Indies when she auditioned for the popular television show Rising Star.

Thompson was also apart of the drama group Quilt.
