A female taxi driver was shot and killed by a gunman as she conducted her duties in St James on Tuesday (April 6).
Reports from the police are that at around 7:10 p.m. the female driver was travelling on the Tucker main road with seven passengers in her Toyota Voxy when one requested a stop.
According to reports, the passenger requested that the driver open the trunk, she complied and was shot several times.
The driver has been identified as Tamara Higgins of Spring Mount in St James
