People’s National Party (PNP) candidate for North East St Elizabeth Basil Waite was involved in a two vehicle crash on Wednesday evening (August 26).
Waite was not injured in the crash which took place in Union, St Elizabeth.
Reports are that shortly after 10:00 p.m. Waite was travelling towards Balaclava when the collision took place involving another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
It is reported that the driver failed to keep left and crashed into Waite’s vehicle.
Waite escaped the crash without injury, however the other driver was taken to hospital.
