Actor James Earl Jones has died

Legendary actor, James Earl Jones, died on Monday, according to a representative of the famed actor.

He was 93.

The circumstances of his death have not been revealed.

Jones, known for his deep baritone voice, was a present fixture on the screen and stage in a career spanning near seven decades.

His roles include the iconic voice of Star Wars’ Darth Vader, Mufasa in Disney’s The Lion King among a raft of others that have made him a household name.

His last major onscreen role was when he reprised his role as King Jaffe Joffer in the sequel to the movie Coming to America.

During his time he has earned two Tony Awards, a Grammy and an honorary Academy Award.
