Dancehall artiste Shenseea says she missed out on her pre-show ritual and doesn’t feel as prepared as she should be for her performance in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Shenseea made the disclosure in her Instagram story on Friday (October 22) ahead of her performance at the All African Festival.
“I am not ready for this show. I slept the whole day and had to wake up exactly when I am suppose to get ready. I don’t even know my show set to be honest. Wah me ago do hmmm,” Shenseea told her Instagram following.
“Before my shows, I always have to sit and meditate,” she added, being interrupted by the falling of her earing.
Shenseea further added that she had only recently arrived in the UAE via Emirates airline, sharing a welcome card given to her by the flight crew.
Shenseea is the only Jamaican artiste that will be performing at the All Africa Festival in UAE’s most populous city Dubai.
Over 20,000 patrons are expected to attend the festival, which boasts food, fashion, culture and music from across the African continent.
