A gun attack on Mannings Hill Road on Friday (August 2) has left one man dead and another nursing gunshot wounds at hospital.
Reports from the police are that at a about 10:00 p.m. both men were walking along Mannings Hill Road when armed men opened gunfire at them.
The police were summoned and both men were observed on the ground with several gunshot wounds.
They were assisted to hospital where one man was pronounced dead, while the other underwent treatment and is said to be in stable condition.
The dead man has been identified as 29-year-old Orlando McDermott of 16 Glen drive, Kingston 8 St. Andrew.
21-year-old Orlando McDermott of a 72 Mannings Hill Road address remains hospitalized.
