WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook have gone down, leaving millions of users worldwide unable to communicate.
At around 10:30 a.m. Jamaican time users on island began seeing error messages on all three services.
In a series of tweets both WhatsApp and Facebook told users that the company is aware of the problem and working to fix it.
All three apps are owned by Facebook and run on shared infrastructure.
