A 60-year-old man has been charged with Rape and Sexual Touching following two separate incidents which occurred between September to December 2021.
Charged is Gerald Whyte a construction worker of Retreat district, Little London in Westmoreland.
It is understood that Whyte had sexual intercourse with a teen girl against her will, who was on several occasions sent to collect money from him by her mother.
During one of her visits, Whyte assaulted the teen , who is said to be the elderly man’s step-child.
A report was made to the police with regards to the incident and a complainant statement recorded.
On Wednesday (July 17) lawmen conducted a raid at Whyte’s home where heseen, arrested and charged for the offences.
