Team Jamaica will have up to seven opportunities to medal on Saturday (August 3) as the island nation competes at the 33rd staging of the Olympics in Paris.
Many of the nations athletes began their campaign at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Thursday with the opening of the track and field events at the Stade de France.
On day three of the track and field, all eyes will be on the Women’s 100 meters semi finals and finals which will be ran at 12:50 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. respectively.
Three years ago, Jamaica won all nine of their Tokyo 2020 medals on the track: four gold, one silver and four bronze.
