Ultra low-cost carrier, Avelo airlines, is to begin offering nonstop service between Connecticut, USA and Montego Bay, Jamaica .
The service is scheduled to begin in November 2024 with flights operating out of the Bradley International Airport in Hartford.
Montego Bay is among Avelo’s first international routes, following from the company’s March 2024 application for international service authority from the US Department of Transportation.

According to Avelo’s current schedule, the carrier will offer flights to the island’s tourism capital twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Flights are expected to cost as little as $130 USD each way.
