Former St. Jago athlete killed in car crash in Florida

Former St. Jago High athlete Tatiana Wolfe died in a single vehicle collision on Wednesday in Florida.

She was just 29-years-old.

Reports are that the collision occurred at around 2:53 a.m. with both occupants of the vehicle transported to the Jackson Memorial Ryder Trauma Center.

Wolfe died upon arrival at the hospital, while the other occupant was described as alive with “serious injuries.”

Described as an impressive hurdler, Wolfe represented St. Jago High School at the Boys and Girls Championships from 2011 to 2013.

She also represented Jamaica at the CARIFTA Games in 2009 and 2013 where she took home a silver and bronze medal.
