77-year-old Biden defeated Donald Trump in what has been a very close election race.
Biden’s win comes three days after Election Day voting began.
The turning point came Saturday, when Biden won the state of Pennsylvania, one of a trio of northern industrial states Democrats lost in 2016 and one of the biggest Electoral College prizes.
