Yanique ‘Curvy Diva’ Barrett says she has plenty of things on the horizon for her Dining With Curvy brand.
According to Barrett, she is looking to expand her restaurant brand to include a seasoning line and a cooking clothing line.
The plans to expand come after a successful year, in which she launched her critically acclaimed restaurant Dining With Curvy in Kingston, Jamaica.
The new restaurant coupled with the growing popularity of her Dining with Curvy: From my table to yours cookbook has created a strong demand for Barrett’s restaurant brand.
Barrett says the demand is strongest in the North American market noting that fans often express an interest in visiting her restaurant and have been asking her to expand the brand to the US.
“Everywhere I perform or host in the US people tell me they can’t wait to come to the restaurant and try the food so we decided for 2022 they won’t have to wait,” Curvy Diva explained.
While no concrete plans yet to expand into the North American market, Barrett says she will be hosting a US restaurant tour in 2022.
The Dining With Curvy Restaurant tour will have Yanique and one of her talented chefs preparing some signature items in select cities for a food inclusive event series. Currently Yanique and her team are finalizing the specific cities and their restaurant partners for the tour.
“I’m overwhelmed at the response so far from restaurateurs and promoters who are on board the Dining With Curvy Tour. We look forward to more persons reaching out to be a part of it and its definitely the best way to start the new year with a new project’ Curvy added.
