Dancehall artiste ‘Queenie Ladi Gangsta’ celebrated her first anniversary with her husband Dwayne ‘Dowey’ Scarlett on Friday (March 25).
To commemorate the special occasion, the artiste shared an Instagram (IG) photo of her and hubby, Duwey, sharing a passionate kiss on their wedding day.
“1 of the best day of my life,” said Queenie in the caption.
“To becomes a proudly wife love you Dowey my June Plum Husband,” she added.
Queenie got married to Dowey on March 20, 2021.
The 51-year-old deejay who has been living in the United Kingdom for more than a decade initially started dating Dowey while he was living in Jamaica.
Dowey, who is 20 years her junior has since migrated to the UK to live with his wife.
The duo might be considered an unconventional pairing due to the striking age difference, however, they were not to be swayed by naysayers and seem to be enjoying married life.
When the two first went public with their relationship, Queenie’s friends, family, and even social media users warned her not to marry Dowey.
The ‘Double Tap’ songstress also made sure to thank her loyal supporters who she affectionately calls her ‘Royal Crazies’.
“This was such a blessings day, god is with us. Thanks 4 the support fr my Royal Crazies,” she said.
