Audley Shaw to replace Green as Minister of Agriculture

Prime Minister Andrew Holness on Wednesday (September 15) announced that Audley Shaw would be replacing Floyd Green as Minister of Agriculture.

Holness made the announcement in a press release noting that Shaw would take on Green’s duties in addition to his portfolio which includes industry and commerce.

“Minister Audley Shaw who currently has portfolio responsibility for Industry and Commerce, has been asked to assume the additional responsibility of Agriculture and Fisheries,” read the release.

“The government will ensure that all current programmes of work and policy direction are maintained to yield the maximum benefits to our farmers,” the release added.
